“The Presidents’ Tailor” wins in New York
"The Presidents' Tailor" won the Special Jury Award (Short) at the Workers Unite Film Festival in New York City. It's a special honor to receive this prize from a festival which spotlights films about labor issues. Martin Greenfield ran Greenfield Clothiers as as a union shop and cared deeply about the welfare of his workers. Now his sons Jay and Tod and grandson David are continuing in his tradition. So this award really goes to the Greenfields and everyone at Greenfield Clothiers. Thanks for all your excellent work!

In Memory of Martin Greenfield (1928 – 2024)

It was a great honor and pleasure to follow Martin and his family with our camera over the past seven years. We hope our film The Presidents' Tailor pays tribute to this remarkable human. If you would like to organise a screening of the film, please contact us here. For more details about Mr. Greenfield's remarkable life, please read Alex Traub's touching obituary in the New York Times.

Colin Powell and Martin Greenfield
Yesterday former US Secretary of State Colin Powell died of complications related to his COVID-19 infection. He was one of those rare cases of someone who was vaccinated coming down with the virus. I won't get into Powell's career merits and controversies. But I will share this little clip from my upcoming film "The Presidents' Tailor" in which Powell gives a beautiful speech in honor of his friend and tailor Martin Greenfield on the occasion of Martin's 90th birthday party in 2018. Enjoy!
